Shift Team Leader

Location: Baghdad – Abu Ghraib (Al-Awsat Chips & Food Factory) Employment Type: Full-Time (Shift Basis) Al-Awsat Company is seeking a dynamic and field-oriented Shift Team Leader to manage shop-floor operations at our manufacturing facility in Abu Ghraib, Baghdad. Key Responsibilities: Lead, supervise, and organize shift operators and factory labor to achieve daily production targets. Monitor automated manufacturing and packaging line operations, ensuring mechanical reliability and smooth performance. Troubleshoot basic mechanical issues during operations and collaborate closely with the maintenance team to minimize unplanned downtime. Enforce strict adherence to food safety standards, hygiene policies, and workplace safety rules on the line. Track shift KPIs including output volumes, material wastage, and labor attendance, submitting clear shift handover reports. Qualifications & Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering (Mandatory). Minimum of 2–4 years of proven supervisory/leadership experience in a factory environment (prior food manufacturing experience is a strong advantage). Solid technical understanding of mechanical systems, conveyors, drives, and machinery layout. Strong leadership, conflict-resolution, and shift-management capabilities.
