Lead Facilities Management Engineer
📍 Location: Karbala, Iraq
We are seeking an experienced Lead Facilities Management Engineer to oversee and manage both Hard Services and Soft Services operations across facilities. Key Responsibilities
Lead and supervise FM engineers, supervisors, technicians, and service providers. Manage Hard FM Services including Electrical, Mechanical, Plumbing, HVAC, Civil, and Building Systems maintenance. Oversee Soft FM Services including Housekeeping, Cleaning, Waste Management, Landscaping, and Pest Control. Develop and implement preventive and corrective maintenance programs. Coordinate repairs, maintenance activities, and facility improvement projects. Monitor contractor performance and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards. Maintain maintenance records, reports, KPIs, and asset management documentation. Ensure efficient day-to-day facility operations with minimal downtime.
Requirements Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil Engineering, or related field. 5-8 years of Facilities Management experience. Proven experience managing both Hard FM and Soft FM Services . Strong knowledge of building maintenance, MEP systems, HVAC, and facility operations. Experience supervising maintenance teams and contractors. Knowledge of ERP systems; SAP experience is an advantage. Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
