Region Trade Bank Recruits: Assistant Branch Manager – Kirkuk Branch POSITION OVERVIEW Region Trade Bank invites applications for a Assistant Branch Manager position at our Kirkuk branch. We seek an experienced banking professional capable of assuming administrative and operational responsibilities, leading a specialized team, and ensuring full compliance with regulatory and internal standards. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Branch Operations Management Oversee daily branch operations and ensure all activities function efficiently and professionally, including teller services, financial transactions, and loan processing. Assume the Branch Manager's operational responsibilities and authority during his absence. Team Leadership and Development Lead the branch team effectively, including recruitment, training, performance development, and supervision. Build a professional work culture committed to excellence and adherence to standards. Support performance evaluation processes and staff skill development initiatives. Customer Relationship Management Professionally handle and resolve complex and escalated customer complaints. Support implementation of customer satisfaction improvement strategies and client retention programs. Regulatory Compliance and Risk Management Ensure strict compliance with Central Bank of Iraq directives and bank policies. Apply Anti-Money Laundering (AML/CFT) and Know Your Customer (KYC/CDD/EDD) standards rigorously and accurately. Business Development and Financial Performance Support achievement of branch targets for deposits, loans, and banking services. Acquire new customers while maintaining existing relationships. Promote banking products and services appropriate to customer needs. Financial Monitoring and Systems Management Assist in rigorous monitoring of financial and cash operations, ensuring accuracy of reports and data. Support branch budget monitoring and financial performance tracking. Ensure efficient operation of banking systems and technologies. QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED Education Bachelor's degree in business administration, Finance, or related field. Professional Experience 3 to 5 years of proven experience in banking operations and branch management. Core Competencies • Strong leadership skills and demonstrated ability to supervise and develop teams. • In-depth knowledge of branch operations and retail/corporate banking services. • Comprehensive understanding of Central Bank of Iraq requirements and regulatory standards. • Exceptional customer service skills and ability to resolve complex complaints. • Proficiency in Core Banking System and Microsoft Office (particularly Excel). • Strong analytical skills and ability to make sound decisions in complex situations. • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. • Commitment to compliance, risk management, and ethical business practices. Languages • Arabic: Advanced (reading, writing, speaking). • English: Proficient (reading, writing, speaking). • Kurdish: Advantageous (valuable in Kirkuk Governorate).
