ABA Medical Group , headquartered in Germany with over 18 years of experience in medical devices, is looking for an ambitious and trustworthy Accountant & Finance Officer to manage and support the financial activities of our Iraq branch. This role offers an opportunity to develop your financial management skills, communicate directly with our international management team, and take ownership of important business operations. 🎯 KEY RESPONSIBILITIES 💰 Accounting & Financial Management Manage daily accounting operations, invoices, expenses, and financial records. Monitor accounts payable, receivable, and cash flow. Prepare financial reports, reconciliations, and budget summaries. Monitor operating expenses and support financial planning. 🤝 Customer Relations & Financial Negotiations Communicate and negotiate with hospitals, customers, and business partners regarding financial matters. Follow up on outstanding invoices, payments, and overdue receivables. Negotiate payment schedules and settlements within approved company policies. Coordinate with hospital finance and procurement departments. Resolve payment discrepancies and maintain professional customer relationships. 🏦 Banking & Financial Operations Coordinate with local banks regarding transfers, deposits, and payments. Prepare bank reconciliations and monitor account balances. Follow up on domestic and international financial transactions. Ensure compliance with internal financial approval procedures. 📊 Reporting & International Coordination Prepare weekly and monthly financial reports. Coordinate directly with ABA Medical Group's management in Germany. Support financial reviews, accounting documentation, and audits. Cooperate with sales, logistics, procurement, and branch management teams. 🎓 REQUIREMENTS ✅ Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Banking, Business Administration, or related fields. ✅ Minimum 1 year of relevant professional experience. ✅ Good knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and banking operations. ✅ Strong Microsoft Excel skills and familiarity with accounting software. ✅ Excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational skills. ✅ High standards of honesty, confidentiality, accuracy, and responsibility. ✅ Fluent Arabic and good working English. ✅ Based in Karbala or able to attend the office and local business meetings when required.
