IPG Technical Support Technician (Cairo)

Job Summary We are looking for a motivated and technically oriented IPG Technical Support Technician / Specialist to provide technical support and maintenance services for printers and related printing equipment across Egyptian Airports Company sites. The role will primarily focus on printer troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, basic repairs, and ensuring that printing devices operate efficiently. Accountability & Responsibilities Perform routine preventive maintenance and basic corrective maintenance for printers and related printing equipment. Diagnose and troubleshoot common printer issues, including paper jams, print quality problems, connectivity issues, and hardware malfunctions. Assist with replacing toner cartridges, ink supplies, drums, rollers, and other printer consumables or replaceable parts. Conduct basic hardware inspections and identify technical faults requiring further repair or escalation. Provide on-site technical support to users at Egyptian Airports Company locations. Travel to airports in different governorates when required to perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and technical support activities. Follow maintenance schedules and ensure that assigned printers are functioning properly. Document maintenance activities, technical issues, repairs, and replaced parts in service reports. Coordinate with the technical team to escalate complex issues and follow up until resolution. Maintain professional communication with clients and end users while ensuring minimal disruption to daily operations. Follow company procedures, client requirements, and applicable site access and safety regulations. Job Requirements Experience: 0–2 years of experience; fresh graduates are welcome to apply. Education: Bachelor's degree or technical diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics, Communications, or a related technical field. Basic understanding of computer hardware, peripherals, and troubleshooting. Basic knowledge of printers and printing equipment is preferred. Previous exposure to printer maintenance or brands such as Canon, Xerox, or similar manufacturers is an advantage. Willingness to learn printer maintenance and participate in technical training when required. Willingness and availability to travel to airports in different governorates for maintenance assignments. Residence: Must be residing in Cairo. Good communication, problem-solving, and time-management skills. Ability to work independently on assigned tasks and coordinate effectively with the technical team.
