We Are Hiring At Almrooj Job Title: HSE Engineer Location: Basra, Iraq Job Type: Full-Time Job Summary: SAPCO Group is seeking a qualified HSE Engineer with an engineering degree and at least one year of relevant experience to support the implementation of health, safety, and environmental procedures, conduct workplace inspections, identify potential hazards, and ensure compliance with HSE policies and regulations. Key Responsibilities: 1- Implement and monitor HSE policies, procedures, and safety guidelines. 2- Conduct workplace inspections and identify potential hazards and unsafe practices. 3- Perform risk assessments and prepare Job Safety Analysis (JSA) when required. 3- Monitor compliance with personal protective equipment (PPE) requirements. 4- Prepare HSE reports, inspection checklists, and safety documentation. 5- Conduct safety inductions and toolbox talks for employees. 6- Report and investigate incidents, accidents, and near misses. 7- Follow up on corrective and preventive actions to improve workplace safety. Qualifications: 1- Bachelor's degree in Engineering. 2- Minimum of 1 year of relevant HSE experience. 3- Must be a resident of Basra City Center. 4- Good knowledge of occupational health and safety principles and practices. 5- Familiarity with risk assessment, hazard identification, and incident investigation. 6- Knowledge of HSE standards such as ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 is an advantage.
